FINE ARTS CLASSROOMS

 

Classrooms for the teaching of Art and Music at the parochial day school, sited to provide an enclosed courtyard and define the Junior High School quadrangle.  The Music Room has a large rolling wooden door which opens onto a courtyard/amphitheater for outdoor performances.

ORGAN CHAMBER

 

Expansion of apse to integrate organ chamber for a restored pipe organ. Reconstruction of high altar to add a transverse clerestory, based upon research into the historic precedent of New Mexican adobe churches.

Status: Completed 1998

 

PARISH CENTER

 

A new meeting hall for the historic adobe church to accommodate 300 people for concerts, dinners and special events. Designed to allow a centralized platform with semi-circular seating for auditorium use. Includes commercial kitchen, restrooms & storage.
